It has been a busy month end for hubby and me.
On Dec 26, 2008 my car insurance and road tax expired. Did my road tax with Myeg and I was amazed by their services. Not only they provide a great online services, they also got a customer services officer that’s friendly and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend their services.
Yesterday, we moved to new house. There are still some boxes in our old house. We didn’t manage to move all our things at one go as the 5 ton lorry we hired was not enough. Look like both of us need to get the stuff by car instead. Both house a mess. Not sure when will we be able to reorganize everything. I’m planning on getting curtains for new house. Will drop by IKEA/MACY for their curtain selection soon. Hope hubby willing spend some
Today we are going for full moon celebration.

My colleague car battery went dead at the parking lot of a customer site. He forgot to turn the lights off, unfortunately. He keep on saying that he’s getting old that’s why he forgot. Blaming the age factor kind of thingy. By the way he’s only 30 plus. If you ask me, I think he get overexcited meeting his favorite customer so he forgot to turn the light off. I’m so thankful that my car when you shut the car off, it shuts your lights off as well. Most of the time hubby forgot to turn the head light off.

Since he don’t have jumper cables in his car, I tried to look for jumper cable in KLCC while waiting for hubby to fetch me. No luck finding it in KLCC. Hubby and me rush to the customer place with hope that there’s a petrol station along the way. Surprise… surprise… we stopped at 5 petrol station and none of them selling jumper cables. Finally hubby make his way to Giant in Kelana Jaya and bought 2 pair of jumper cables.

When we arrived, both of these guys(hubby and my colleague) ask me how to use the jumper cable. Hello… I’m a woman. When my car battery went dead, this is how I handle/solve my problem :

• Call hubby
• If hubby so slow to come for rescue I called my male friends/colleague.
• Rely on the kindness of strangers to jump starting a car.

I’ve been nagging hubby for nearly a month. He keeps on promising getting/buying boxes for moving but till now hmmph…

I search the net for company that sell boxes but all of them sell min 1000 boxes. Just now I bump into a site selling boxes and the min number they sell is 5. The great news is their shop is quite near to our house.

I’m putting the link of the site here in case hubby needs it. Since he keeps on telling me he can’t find shop that sell boxes.

Let’s see how long hubby needs to actually drag himself to this shop and get the boxes. Next weekend he’ll be away for team building. If by next Friday he didn’t bought any then I guess as usual I need to do the buying stuffs.

Don’t you just hate it when you someone reply you with “It’s not my problem!” I’m really sick of people keep using it as answer to my question. Yes I know it’s directly not affecting you but can’t you be considerate and reply me with more informative way.

Another phrase that I hate is “It’s not my job!” when it’s clearly is yours. If that is not your job then may I ask whose job is it? Me? Arghhhh…

If you ask me hire someone, I don’t really look at qualification. I prefer attitudes more that anything. Give me a fresh grad with good attitude (he/she need to be able to work with me:D) and I’ll train the girl/guy in max 6 months to be up to speed.
