May 2nd, 2009

We stayed at New Sany Rosa Bandung and it cost us around RM 440 for 4D/3N in superior room… We booked directly with the hotel via phone.

Staffs was helpful ;-) The room was a bit small but okay for us since we basically use it to sleep after a long walk around town.

If you ask me in term of location I would say the location is great for those who want to walk to Rumah Mode. It took us 10 minutes walk from Rumah Mode to Hotel but hubby and I prefer outlets along Jalan Riau instead of Rumah Mode.

The breakfast is same menu every single days … It never change at all. Room service is available 24 hours. We ordered room services food on our first night and the taste is okay … not great but just okay to fill up ur stomach …

i’ve been there recently. it was a gud hotel. reasonable, relaxing, gud staff etc… at first we staye at mitra hotel but we not satisfied with the room and service. so, our pak supir suggest this hotel. and we love this hotel. i like bandung very muc. gud place to eat and shopping. the food is great! they have 2 main course of food. nasi padang and nasi sunda. pls try at simpang raya, and even pasar baru food court(go to layang sari shop) for nasi padang. sapu lidi, sari sunda and dapur sangkuriang for nasi sunda. this is all nice restaurant to eat. dont worry bout the price. very very cheap! trust me. if u want to relax and have a gud food (western food and sunda food) pls try at kg.daun. they have a fantastic view. u can sit next to a small river or up hill surrounding by waterfall. huh! what a nice place.. if u guyswanna have a cup off coffee, u should go to this kopi ireng cafe. its on the way to kg.daun and up hill. cozy, frenly staff and gud dessert. while u having ur coffee, u can see the whole of bandung. u can ask ur pak supir to bring you there. if you stay longer,ls go to punchak. along the road they sell jagung bakar. try it! u will like it very muc. stop by at the small hut and enjoy the jagung bakar. lastly, i think u should get a gud pak supir. i was very lucky to have a super duper gud pak supir. believe it or not we still have a gud relationship with him and the family. ok guys, have a gud holiday.

    Hello, there.

Thanks for sharing some of your experience staying in this hotel. May I know, how do you go to FO in Jalan Riau? Is it walking distance or you took angkutan/cab? How’s the fee — I just want to estimate the distance.

Last time I went to Bandung and stayed at Rumah Ebo. Very convenient. Walking distance to restaurant and FOs (many of them along the street). We only took angkutan to go to Pasar Baru, Tangkuban Perahu, and on the first day our Supir dropped us at Toko Tiga after picking us up from Jakarta.

I’m thinking of staying other places this time. Didn’t get the chance to visit Jalan Riau’s FOs the last time I went. Hopefully it’s similar to Jalan Dago’s or better! :)

    Many many thanks.
