My way in life

Don’t you just tired of not being appreciated, of being taken for granted, of being ignored at work. Well I do and so do my other services colleagues. We are so fed up with not hearing a flipping thank you for things that we go out of our way to do.

We work from home after office hours. Replying mail and working even weekends. Got MC, on weekend or public holiday? Forget about resting or enjoying ourselves. We still need to work even on these days. We need to reply emails, prepare SOW and etc on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

I pity my colleagues that have kids. With work life balance motto they should have more time for their kids and I’m supposed to have more time for my chubby bloated hubby.

Sometimes the thanks and rewards does come in but went straight to wrong people. It went to our manager or sales lady or sleeping pm. Come on!! They are not the one working long hours and get the thing fixes! We are the on work very hard, almost 24/7 non-stop. On top of that we also have to do their job coz either they are so bad at it or they just don’t give a damn about it. Then again, maybe that’s why they wear the PRADA.. and I only wear BATA

No appreciations to you, what will you do? Will you give up (my other pillar TL does)? Will you resign (one of my colleague does)?

Anyone know a company or manager who appreciates private time and draws a clear line between work and personal time? Let me know k.

PV first day at a big corp. CP approach her and ask her for lunch. During lunch at food court …

PV : My house got a lot ants. I don’t know what else do I need to do in order to get rid of them.
CP : You should talk to them. Go and talk to the ants and ask them to leave your house. They would listen to you. I done that.
PV : errrr… okay

After lunch. PV Running to Ray cubicle.

PV : Why didn’t you tell me there’s such person in this big company.
Ray: Who? What?

PV start telling Ray their lunch conversation. Ray start laughing non stop.

I always see CP alone and keep on wondering why nobody actually mingle with her. I only talked to her 2 times. Once on my first day.

Another time when everyone need to call me in order to set appointment for IDP. During that time she went direct to Boss and Boss ask him to look for me.

CP     : I need to set appointment for my IDP
Boss     : Go and set the time with FZ
CP     : Who is she? (I was standing in front of her during that time)
Boss     : You don’t know who is she?
CP     : NO!

At this time I start waving my hand and smile as indication I am FZ.

CP     : Owh you FZ. I don’t know you. Did you know me?
Me     : err Yes. We were introduce before.
CP     : REALLY???

At this point I just smile and ask her which slot did she want to go for.

I’m stuck at one of my customer place a problem / situation created by my team lead.  I don’t really know who in the right mind would said that planning, installation and configuration of a problematic software on 3 OS400 boxes would only take 1 day.

I feel that it’s my reponsiblity to finish the job even though it took more that 1 day. Last week my boss called me and told me he don’t want me to spend more time on the problem. My ID10T team lead was asking me to justify why do I need to be at customer place. I’m just so pissed. That’s it! I so fed up of cleaning his sh*ts. If the customer make noise or escalate this issue, let him answer. I just don’t want to do the cleaning job anymore.

Hubby just got anew phone… Finally the bulky not so easy to get through phone has been changed to a nicer and slimmer phone. I wanted to snap hubby new red phone and post it here, but hubby was playing with it till i got bored and sleepy.

Although it’s not a Cybershot or Walkman phone, it still comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, plus a media player, so you have full access to core multimedia features.

Connectivity is excellent, with Bluetooth and USB availability. It also has WiFi support and 3G, although note that it has triband GSM support, not quadband, and there’s no HSDPA support either.
