I guess I better dedicate this song to all of my managers …
I guess it’s time for me to look for another job. I’m officially burn out. I bumped into my manager last 2 days and she keeps on saying that she didn’t push me any more. Argh … she so protective of her peoples. Every time there are new opportunities I need to do SOW, I need to go for meeting and I need to do everything. She keeps saying that her peoples do not have the skills yet! Hello you suppose to learn while doing it.
My big boss (manager of my manager) insisted I stay in my current team and position. He rejected my application on moving to different department, while I got to know my manager told my country manager that she’s not letting me go.
When I joined, I had basically zero knowledge on Tivoli products. I don’t even know what are the products and pillars under it. Second month, I was thrown to a Crisit. What make me different that my manager peoples? From my opinion, if you are a consultant with min 6 years of experiences you should be able to handle new products and customers. There’s no such thing as I need training in order to pick up. Just think about it. Tivoli has more than 500 products and pillars. Training for all of the products? In your dream!
Tivoli mostly need DB2 and WAS. One of manager people went to customer site and found out he need to work on DB2 used by Tivoli. He replied them as following:”I’m suppose to do Tivoli only and I don’t know DB2. I don’t want to do it” . Bugger! End up I have to go in and start the DB2 services. Yes the DB2 was down that why Tivoli product having problem.
I gave this guy opportunity to install. Just RTFM what so hard about that? End up I need to do the installation coz even with the installation manual this guy is still blur and don’t even know what he should do.
I might be the youngest in my team but I think I know how an experience consultant should be. If you already promise a demo to customer, please come. Don’t give excuses that you don’t know how to get there when there’s so many people guiding you. Don’t tell me you need 8 hours to find your way from subang jaya to bukit jelutong!I might not be genius but I’m not that stupid either.
Here are some foods that we tried in bandung.. Some we didn’t manage to snap any pics coz both of us was so hungry when the food was served we straight away finished it up with out any thought of snapping it.
