I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors related to pay cut from my colleagues. Some is telling me that the company gonna do 15% pay cut.
Others were telling me that it gonna be 70-30. Which mean you only gonna get 70% of your monthly salary while the other 30% would be based on company/department/team performances and payable quarterly (most likely you won’t get it).
Frankly speaking be it either 15% or 30% it gonna hurt my bank account.
There’s no official announcement being made. According to my manager it’s bad enough this year increment suck. If there’s a pay cut most likely there would a lot of colleagues resign. Yes I did asked my manager on these rumors. Come on we are talking about money here and it’s not a small amount.
If there’s a pay cut in my department (hopefully not), I’m gonna sit down with HR and forcefully (without all the top management approval) join other department that welcome me with open arms. Worst case scenario would be open my own business and see how it goes from there.

dont be sad…at least u still get paycheck every month. open a business is a good idea indeed why not give it a go…i plan to but not enough capital so at the moment i will just put in my waiting list and hope someday my wish come true
