1. Go to Your freedom (http://www.your-freedom.net )website.
2. Register yourself. You should see the following text "First visit? Click here to register", click on it.
3. Login to the email you register with and click on the activate link provided in the email.
4. Login to Your freedom
5. Click on Download button.
6. Download the latest version of your freedom client. In my example version 20080407-01
7. Extract the zip file (freedom-20080407-01.zip) into a directory eg: freedom.
8. Double clicks freedom.jar file and then click on configure button. You should get the following screen :

9. Click on Use Wizard button.
10. Kindly click on the Try to auto-detect button

11. Click on Next button and you would see this
    • 
12. Click on Next and when you see this
    • wait until it finished and you are able to click on the Next button
13. Click next
14. Key in you username and password here
    • and click on Next button
15. Please click on Save and Exit button here
    • 
16. In this screen you would also need to click on the Save and Exit button
    • 
17. Here make sure Yahoo Messenger check box is checked and if you want to access blocked site in browser kindly checked the browser as well.
    • 
18. Click on the OK button
19. Go to Status tab and click on the Start Connection
20. You are connected once you see these icon at the dialog box and at your task bar
    • 
21. Now try login to your yahoo messenger …
